ABOUT ME

I am a qualified counsellor registered with BACP and UKATA. I have a degree in Social Work, a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling, and many years’ experience of supporting people in different settings.

I offer a caring and confidential space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings, be heard and understood. I believe that gaining a better understanding of ourselves can support us to change unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, allowing us to live the life we want.

Sessions last for an hour, and cost £45 per session. I work with most clients weekly or fortnightly and offer appointments on weekdays and Saturdays. I offer a free initial 30 minute appointment.

I work with clients on a range of issues, and am LGBTQ+ friendly.

My practice is based in Grange over Sands with free parking outside. I also offer appointments either outdoors or online. Do get in touch if you'd like more information about outdoor therapy. Options range from sitting and talking in a quiet space, to hill walking.

I have experience working with a broad range of people from all walks of life and am very happy to discuss issues or concerns, or my work, by telephone before scheduling an appointment.
